For facilitation our present and future clients, Telepassport –
Bulgaria` s Department for port agenting has prepared a brief
presentation of the ports in which we participates in.
PortBurgas is the biggest Bulgarian port, which serves to all big
industrial centers in the country. The port complex has a well
developed railway and transport connections, it has 27 places for the
ships, which offer many port services -–working all kinds of general
fill and liquid cargoes, containers and trawlers, heavy packages,
fridge cargoes. The entire length of the quay front is 3905 m., the
entire area of the open stores is 307 500 m2, of the sheltered stores
is 7 130 m2, and of the fridge stores – 18 000 m2.
Port East -includes 6 quay places with front 1550 m and depth from 4
to 10m. Ships with no more than 25 000 t., that transport packed
cargoes – foods, paper, salts, metals, fertilizers and others are
serviced there.
Port Fill Cargoes - Includes 6 quay places with front 750 m and depth
from 5 to 11 m. Ships with no more than 65 000t., that transport ore
and ore concentrates, coke, coals, and others are serviced there. The
port offers a crane – type Sivertel, with capacity 1200 t. per an
hour, as well as sheltered store areas 5 000 sq. m, open store areas –
49 000 sq. m and last, but not least is the discrete connection to the
railway and the transport net.
Port West - front 890 m, depth from 6.5 to 11 m., which is specialized
for metal processing, ships Ro – Ro, car transport and container
transport.
Oil port – Rosenec
Port Varna includes 3 component ports Varna East, Varna West and
Baltic. The entire length of the quay is 5 765 m. The port has 34 quay
palaces, 24 100 open and 77 400 sheltered store area and 11 sections
for containers, coals, clinker, cement, soda, grain, liquid and
chemical cargoes termination, animals, as well as passengers and
yachts. It is equipped with 57 bridge cranes, 3 container and 3 gantry
jib cranes, with a belt loader, installations for dechloretan and
liquid fertilizer, installations for sulfur acid, 4 quay overloaded
machines (3 with cargo lifting 400 t. per an hour and 1 with cargo
lifting 200 t. per an hour), gum-belt transporter, trestle soda,
trestle carbide and others.
Port Varna East - 2 378 m. entire length of the quay, 49 600 sq. m
open and 41 00 sq. m sheltered store area. The port has 14 quay
places, one of which is for passengers, one for the helping navy and
12 for loading. The port specializes mainly in general cargoes and
containers. Taking under consideration that the town is close only
grain from the fill cargoes and periodically other cargoes are
terminated there.
Port Varna – West -3 223 m. entire length of the quay, 190 500 sq. m
open and 35 900 sq. m sheltered store area. The port has 18 quay
places for loading. The port specializes in general and fill cargoes
and containers, it has installations for liquid chemical cargoes.
Baltic -The port has one place for loading with length 164m. The port
is for general and fills cargoes termination.
